As illustrated above, I don't 'do' Artspeak. I'm sure you'll agree that if my paintings don't do the talking then we are on the wrong wavelength. It is, and should be that simple. No amount of explanation should be needed if the work is strong. I've been painting for as long as I can remember. I have a studio at home so work largely in isolation which can be quite a challenge, particularly regarding motivation. However I have encountered the horrors of so called Fine Art painting degree courses which made me very grateful indeed that I have an innate artistic ability. I am a figurative painter but may experiment more with semi abstract in the future. I hope you will enjoy looking at my work and would love feedback from you.
